A baby’s birth day or night is hard to predict - babies come when they feel the time is right.  
Therefore, I work with a team of back-up doulas.                                                                    

It is my deepest wish to be present at the birth of your baby - but life is sometimes unpredictable.
In all my years of being a doula, I never had to rely on a back-up doula.
However, if I would be unavailable to attend your birth for unforeseeable reasons, such as a family emergency, an illness, or attending another birth, I could connect you with one of the doulas in my back-up team.
